Courses & Curriculum

What courses do you offer?

English Typewriting, Tamil Typewriting, English Shorthand, and Tamil Shorthand. Guidance toward Computer Office Automation (COA) is also planned as a next step after Typewriting.

Is the curriculum government-approved?

Yes. Both the curriculum and the fees follow a government-approved standard.

What language is instruction in?

English and Tamil, both taught properly. Tamil Shorthand is taught after English Shorthand theory is complete.

What's your pass rate?

Students have passed at a rate above 90%, exam after exam, for years.

Duration & Fees

How long does the course take?

At one hour a day, most students reach Junior Grade (30 WPM) in about nine months, and Senior Grade (45 WPM) four months after that. A two-hour-a-day fast track completes both sooner.

What are the fees?

A one-time admission fee of ₹250, plus ₹750 a month. Examination fees are collected separately, at the government-set rate.

What happens after Typewriting?

Guidance toward Computer Office Automation is planned as a next step, carrying the same instructors and discipline into computer-based office work. It's still being finalized — see the COA page or ask us directly for the latest.
